I hope I never lose my Wallet

Never lose my wallet, it would put me in a spot.
Never lose my sense, at least how much I’ve got.
Never lose my family, never lose my friends.
Never lose my youth, I hope it never ends.
Hope I never lose my wallet.
And hell I hope to hell and only time will tell
I hope I never lose my mind.
Or lose my self somewhere not too far from here that nobody can find.
Never lose my hair, I would hate to go without.
Never lose direction and wander all about.
Never lose my courage, never lose my hope.
Never lose my girl, it would make it hard to cope.
Hope I never lose my wallet.
And last of all, not least of all
I hope I never lose my mind.
Or lose myself somwhere not too far from here that nobody can find.

The title of this song was, for quite a long time, the tag-line of my blog. This song means a lot to me. It is rather simple but carries a lot of meaning behind it and something that I have been able to relate to for a long time.

Thoughts on having a Positive Attitude

A couple of days ago my good friend Og presented to his blog followers a great article titled “Stop Whining and Improve your Life“. Og’s post goes into some details of the various “symptoms” one may observe when one suffers from the whining bug. Negativity is the general theme of the symptoms manifesting itself in various ways and becoming a constant in one’s life. The diagnosis is followed up by some recommendation  prescribed to ail the symptoms. (more…)

PAX East 2010

For the last six years, the west coast has been privileged to have the precense of something that the east coast would only dream of until now. I am speaking of the Penny Arcade Expo, or PAX as the creators have baptised it. The creators being Jerry and Mike (aka Tycho and Gabe of Penny Arcade Comics ) have brought us PAX to the wonderful city of Boston for the first time since it’s inception in 2004. It was held at the Hynes Convention Center March 26th through the 28th.
